MISSION STATEMENT
10-7 Ministries exists to promote and encourage positive mental, emotional, and spiritual health amongst law enforcement officers, first responders and their families. We do this by helping you grow in your faith and belief in Jesus Christ and connecting you to other first responders and resources to aid in your wellness, so you can thrive in your personal, professional, and spiritual lives.
LEADERS
MIKE & CRYSTAL MITCHELL
Mike Mitchell is no stranger to working with and ministering to those in law enforcement. He began his career as a juvenile corrections officer with a Probation Department in Southern California. He thought he would spend his career there, but that wasn’t God’s plan. Feeling the call to ministry, Mike moved to Portland, Oregon to start seminary. After going through a mental health crisis, Mike was forced to withdraw from seminary. He stayed in Portland and ended up marrying his wife Crystal in 2007.

After Crystal graduated from Multnomah Biblical Seminary with her degree in Women’s Ministry, they moved to Virginia where Mike worked as a juvenile parole and probation officer, and then as a community mental health counselor. Again, Mike began feeling the call to ministry, and the desire to continue his education. God opened up the door for Mike Crystal to move to North Carolina where Mike ended up graduating from Gardner-Webb University with a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling. During those years at Gardner-Webb, Mike also became a chaplain with a large police department in North Carolina in 2016. Since that time, Mike has walked alongside his officers through a variety of situations.

Those experiences have led Mike and Crystal to start 10-7. The ministry is part of their desire to provide quality pastoral care to law enforcement, first responders, and their families so that they can thrive in their personal, professional, and spiritual lives.
